A benefit sale has been raising money for special projects at Pleasantview since 1956. The Benefit is held on a Friday night and Saturday morning in November. The community comes together to enjoy food, auctions, and musical entertainment.
The 2019 Benefit Sale is now history. Thank you to the community for making it a success. With your generous monetary contributions and donations of auction items, 849 items were sold at the live and silent auctions, and about 650 turkey tenderloin dinners and 300 breakfasts were served. Your generous bidding and monetary contributions gave us preliminary gross receipts of over $78,600.
Net proceeds from the benefit will support plans to create facilities for Memory Care and Assisted Living. This multi-year project will enable Pleasantview to continue providing exceptional care for all residents. Any additional funds will be used for the general welfare of Pleasantview residents.
Thank you very much! Watch for further information about the 65th annual Benefit Sale on November 6 and 7, 2020 at the fully accessible Hillcrest Academy (formerly Iowa Mennonite School).
