A benefit sale has been raising money for special projects at Pleasantview since 1956. The Benefit is held on a Friday night and Saturday morning in November. The community comes together to enjoy food, auctions, and musical entertainment.
Net proceeds from the 2019 Benefit Sale will support Pleasantview’s plans to create facilities for Memory Care and Assisted Living. This multi-year project will enable Pleasantview to continue providing exceptional care for all residents. Any additional funds will be used for the general welfare of all Pleasantview residents.
The Benefit Sale has enabled Pleasantview to purchase items in previous years that include: a wheelchair van with lift, resident room furniture, kitchen equipment, whirlpool, beds, a generator, heating/cooling system, and more.
You are welcome to attend the 64th annual Benefit November 1 and 2 at the fully accessible Hillcrest Academy (formerly Iowa Mennonite School).
