A benefit sale has been raising money for special projects at Pleasantview since 1956. The Benefit is held on a Friday night and Saturday morning in November. The community comes together to enjoy food, auctions, and musical entertainment.
The 2018 Benefit Sale is now history. Thank you to the community for making it a success! 887 items were sold at the live and silent auctions, 680 turkey tenderloin dinners were served Friday evening, and 330 breakfasts were served Saturday. Your generous bidding and monetary contributions gave us preliminary gross receipts of over $78,636.
Net proceeds from the 2018 Benefit Sale support Pleasantview’s plans to create facilities for Memory Care and Assisted Living. This multi-year project will enable Pleasantview to continue providing exceptional care for all residents. Any additional funds will be used for the general welfare of all Pleasantview residents.
Thank you very much! Watch for further information about the 64th annual Benefit Sale on November 1 and 2, 2019 at the fully accessible Iowa Mennonite School.
